REALbasic 2007 Release 1 out today

REALbasic released their latest version today. Three major points:

  1. better user interface on Windows Vista
  2. Universal Binary for RB on the Intel based Macs
  3. Improved Database Support. Lots of small fixes here.

One of the database enhancements deals with working with ODBC. Why is this important? Because one of the demonstrations that I would love to create is in using RB to access Visual Foxpro data. This would be so sweet. One of their ticklers is that it allows for ODBC to work on Linux. I can’t wait to try that out!!! I’ll report when I get it running. :)
