you: Okay.
Skyler: Are you able to view the above link?
you: Yes, but when I click on “Patio Furniture”, I am seeing the header of your site, but no detail.
you: I went to this page: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Patio-Furniture/714/cat.html
Skyler: I’m reviewing the information.
you: The HTML page looks complete. There must be some sort of missing tag in the HTML.
Skyler: Do you have any particular product in your mind?
you: No. My wife is just shopping for some patio furniture for our front and back patios.
you: We were referred by a neighbor.
you: Can you see the patio furniture?
Skyler: Due to security settings, you’re unable to view the Web Page.
Skyler: Yes, I can view all the products.
you: What browser are you using?
Skyler: Please click on this link:
Skyler: Are you able to view the above product?
you: The product is way off to the right.
you: I think there is a problem in the HTML next to the “Checkout” graphic.
you: Let me go back to the previous page and see if the products are off to the right on that page.
Skyler: Sure, you can.
you: They are.
you: It must be something about that “Checkout” button.
you: You might want to notify your web designer.

you: (I’m pulling up Internet Explorer now)

you: Except that Internet Explorer is not available on Linux.
Skyler: I’ll make a note regarding the problem you’re facing.
Skyler: Do you have any more questions for me, today?
you: Internet Explorer looks okay. It must ignore the misplaced tag.
you: I’m not going to use it however and risk infecting my computer.
you: … just to shop Overstock.

Hilarious.   Skyler obviously likes her IE.  I still can’t find the issue with the HTML.  It was a little embarassing that FF 2.0.0.4 on Windows rendered the page correctly while FF 2.0.0.3 on Linux didn’t.  Ah well.  I thought that the support call was funny though and I though you would get a kick out of it

Now, we’ve just got to find some patio furniture! 🙂
