My 100th Blog Post

I've made it to my 100th posting. I must think I have important things to say to have commented on 99 things.

Some of my fellow technologists have admitted to not understanding blogging or podcasting. I can't blame them. Everyone has an opinion. How many of those opinions are actually interesting?

Truth be told, I blog mostly for myself. It's a recording of items that I have found interesting. Sometimes I just paste into my blog some comments I had formulated with another person in a conversation. These comments become an item in my blog. On quite a few occasions, I have made reference to a past blog posting and forwarded that link onto someone else. I hope they have found it helpful.

It is interesting to look at the items that I have blogged about. It is a good reflection of the items that I think and consider. I thought the blog would be far more technical in nature. I find that technology is not that interesting anymore. I attribute this to the maturity of technology. Sure, there are some cool things that come down the pipe and I comment on those, but they tend to be more evolutionary. I also comment on politics and other events. I don't know what to say about them, but I'm afraid "that the more things change, the more they stay the same." To this effect, we cannot escape ourselves.

On to the next 100 postings!
