The bees are back!

Well, I had given up on the bees, but the bees haven't given up on me.

I had one hive sitting outside on the stand just in case a passing swarm wanted to move in and ... they did! I was walking the dogs on Saturday morning and I was passing the hive and I saw quite a few bees coming and going from the entrance. It's not unusual for a couple of scout bees to come and go from the hive just checking it out, but this was more than that. On Sunday there was still a good volume of bees!

I hope they stay and I hope that they can make it through the winter. I also hope that my neighbors don't spay poison and kill them. Welcome to my new employees!
