Visual Flagship - Promising but lots of $$$

I am habitually looking for a good RAD tool that is cross-platform, object oriented, with an easy to learn syntax.

It looked like Visual Flagship would fit the bill. www.fship.com. There is no Mac support but I can overlook that. Very promising indeed.

And then I came to the price. Ouch. http://www.fship.com/price.html Oh well. The weak US dollar adds insult to injury. Back for more searching.
